Download the school app - HVHS have a Mobile App for notices, events and other important school messages. Absence notifications can also be sent through via the app.

To download the app for free on iPhone or Android go to the google play store (android) or app store (Apple) and search for SchoolAppsNZ. Then follow the instructions.

If your child is going to be absent from school:

Either use the school app, email the absence email address from a verified and/or workplace address, or phone the absence line and give the following information:

• Student’s name
• Mentor class
• Reason for absence
