Associate Principal
Hutt Valley High School is the largest secondary school in the greater Wellington region. This Year 9-13 co-educational state secondary school has been at the forefront of secondary education in Lower Hutt for 85 years. We are focused unashamedly on excellence, and pride ourselves on the opportunities we provide for students to achieve outstanding success in the academic, cultural and sporting fields.
We are seeking an Associate Principal (12MU) to offer leadership in our drive for continued improvement in all that we do. The successful appointee will be an inspiring teacher who has made a successful shift to management and now seeks the opportunity to develop their career in a larger forum. The successful applicant will have a passion for seeing young people succeed; the ability to motivate and inspire both students and staff; people skills that are founded on personal respect, professionalism and good humour; and high energy levels alongside a strong strategic vision.

Teacher Aide – Part time
Hutt Valley High School is currently seeking applications for a Teacher Aide in our ESOL Department beginning Term 1. This position is working with teenage second language students for 28.33 hours per week, during term time only. This position may be job shared.
Good general knowledge and computer literacy are required plus strengths in science or mathematics could be an advantage.
