Employment pathways

Careers Education, Employment Skills, Gateway

careers2.jpg

The school provides many opportunities for students to develop their future career and work pathways. This includes Career's Week and career counselling at all levels.

Additional to this students may choose to take Employment Skills and Gateway.

Employment Skills is for those students interested in gaining skills relevant in specific work placements. This can be studied at Year 11,12 and 13.

Gateway is a government funded programme which provides opportunities for students to participate in workplace learning and achieve workplace qualifications while still at school. Students must apply to and will be interviewed before being offered a place.
