My time in New Zealand has been awesome and I am sad that I have to leave in a few days.

The first few weeks in New Zealand were all exciting and new to me, but my kiwi friends helped me a lot and introduced me to a new culture and language. Hutt Valley High School has a full time international manager, who is always there for you if you need help. Luckily I did not have any troubles and I only had a few subject changes in the first weeks. The variety of subjects you can choose at Hutt High is enormous, just to mention a few subjects I cannot choose in Germany: Sport and Outdoor Education, Photography, Design and Media Studies, Japanese etc.

Hutt Valley High School offers a lot of sport and supports teams. I have enrolled myself in table tennis and soccer. I prefer being in a school team, because you can find new friends that you can see every day in school.

I have been travelling a lot and saw stunning places in New Zealand, one of my trips was organised by HVHS and the cost of it was included in the student fees. OPC (Outdoor Pursuit Centre) is an outdoor program which allows students to adventure New Zealand’s Outdoors. And that is what we did; we went caving, hiking, on high rope courses and just had an amazing time.

I am going to miss New Zealand heaps, but when I am looking back I had an amazing time and made lots of friends who I will stay in contact with.

Thank you Hutt Valley High School for giving me the opportunity to study in a foreign country, which has been the best time of my life.

Meine Zeit in Neuseeland war sehr gut und ich kann es gar nicht glauben das ich in ein paar Tagen schon wieder zurueckfliegen muss.

Der ersten Wochen in Neuseeland waren sehr aufregend und neu fuer mich, aber meine Neuseelaendischen(kiwi) Freunde haben mir sehr geholfen mich zurechtzufinden. Hutt Valley High School hat eine International Managerin, die immer fuer einen da ist wenn man Hilfe braucht. Gluecklicherweise hatte ich bisher keine Probleme ausser ein paar Faecher zu wechseln in den ersten Wochen. Die Anzahl und Varietaet der Faecher an dieser Schule ist enorm, um nur ein paar zu nennen: Sport and Outdoor Education, Photography, Design and Media Studies, Japanese etc.

Hutt Valley High School bietet sehr viele Sportarten an und organisiert Teams. Ich habe mich fuer Fussball und Tischtennis angemeldet und hatte sehr viel Spass mit meinen Mannschaften. Schulmannschaften bieten  die Moeglichkeiten neue Freunde zu finden, die man jeden Tag in der Schule sehen kann.

Ich bin sehr viel durch Neuseeland gereist und habe Atemberaubende Landschaften gesehen, eine meiner Reisen wurde von der Schule organisert und war in den Student Fees mitbeinhaltet. OPC (Outdoor Pursuit Centre) ist ein Outdoor Programm das Schuelern in Neuseeland die Gelegenheit bietet die Natur Neuseelands zu sehen. Und das haben wir auch gemacht, wir sind durch hoehlen gegangen, durch kleine Regenwaelder gelaufen, waren in Kletterwaldgaerten, sind wandern gegangen und haben in der Naehe von Mount Doom der in Herr Ringe ist gezeltet.

Ich werde Neuseeland und meine Freunde sehr vermissen, da ich eine unbeschreiblich schoene Zeit hier hatte.
